Well as new parents, you want to do yours best for your child, even if you don’t know what you’re doing.
You find that everything is necessary or believe that you can do everything yourself without any help.
In our case, due to the pandemic and other factors, we could not have human help (parents, uncles, aunts, any relatives, friends, etc), but we found in our experience some objets that were of great help to us and this is what I want to share with you in this post.
Electric breast bump
I thought I wouldn’t need it because I was going to be on maternity leave for a year so I thought that I could breastfeed my baby on demand and that was going to be it. Well I was wrong, by life things we bought one and it was our salvation. At the beginning I didn’t get a drop of milk out of my breast, I even thought that suddenly I was producing it in powder because I felt my breast full but nothing came out. Well with the help of my baby and the electric pump some days (5) after the birth I finally did it. It was hard work, harder than childbirth to be honest, but I was able to breastfeed my baby for almost two years. So this is my first recommended blindfolded.
I used the one from Philips, but doctors, nurses and lactation experts highly recommend and use the Medela’s one. You do not sleep when you baby sleeps, you bump your breasts when your baby sleeps.
Changing table
This is something that we learned also with the experience, we changed our baby in the bed, big mistake, it just take us one day to start looking for a changing table, our back was in real pain. You have to change your baby a lot so is better if you do it in a comfortable position.

Nursing pillow
This is very useful for breastfeeding, it is very comfortable for you and you baby and additionally we use it to help our baby to do his tummy time.
You can find this pillow in any Toy R us, or Walmart, or Amazon.
Baby chair
If you are looking a gift for a baby shower, this is a perfect one, this chair is really safe, fun and does not take up much space, so it is ideal for small apartments or to move around de house.
